I began this page working only from black and white photographs from the events, which left a lot to be desired. Also, I had no idea what the internal ministry's yellow APC would look like. After about an hour of searching over russian military blogs, I found a picture of the above APC with sound system from a military exercise earlier this year.
Then I watched this video, and gave up. Not only was the APC a simpler, less awesome machine (then the one I had found), but the amount of troops at the Hotel Mir was significantly more than the three policemen I drew. So this is about as much as I'll be doing on this comic.

When I saw the words "gave up" I almost died. It would be a fucking crime not to finish this comic.
